He was born in 1944 in Izmir, Türkiye.
After completing his primary, secondary and high school education in English schools, he graduated from Ege University Faculty of Architecture in 1968.
Between 1970 and 1975, he worked in the architectural design, detail and planning departments of Siwog firm in Stuttgart Sindelfingen.
He got married in 1974 and made a definite return to Turkey and established his own architectural office. He continued his profession of architecture by working freelance until 2009.
With his retirement in 2009, he found the opportunity to continue his art life by establishing his own painting workshop. He has been applying his abstract works, which he has been doing for twelve years, on canvas or MDF using oil paints, acrylics and mixed techniques (collage, texture, etc.). He gives great importance to the concepts of depth, balance, color harmony, composition and visuality in his paintings.
In this sense, he opened his first personal exhibition at Narlıdere AKM in October 2017. Afterwards, he participated in many group exhibitions and received awards. Finally, in May 2022, he won the first prize at the international IZMIR BIENNIAL.
