Miradije Ramiqi was born in Pozharan, Viti, on September 11, 1953, where she finished her elementary school and the Vocational School in Ferizaj and Gjilan in 1972.
1974-1978 She finished the Academy of Arts, Department of Painting in Prishtina in Prof. Rexhep Ferri’s and Prof. Muslim Mulliqi’s class.
During her studies in 1974-1978 she was a member of the Faculty Board and member of Senate of the University of Prishtina, and students’ representative in the Art Academy.
In January 1978, she participated in the “Meetings of Yugoslav Universities” in Malinska-Krka, where she represented the students from the University of Prishtina in a dignified representation.
1979 she attended three-month specialization courses in Paris, France, funded by the Kosovo Board of Scientific Research concluding the project successfully.
1995-1997 She finished her post-graduate studies in Prishtina, with Prof. Muslim Mulliqi and defended her master’s thesis ”Art in search of its re-conception ”.
She is currently a professor at the Faculty of Arts of University of Prishtina.
She lives in Prishtina.

She has published: four volume edition of poetry in albanian language; and four personal antologyin; english-albanian two publishid, ferst in Kosova and second time in Lulu, New York / USA; romanian in Bucharest in Bucharest and albanian-italian in Prishunë- Kosova
She was also included in numerous anthologies in the albanian and other languages with other autors in the world; serbo croat, arabic, french, german, romanian, english, etc.
