Based in Montréal, Québec, Canada, Paul-André Hamel came to mobile photography by happenstance attracted by the multitude of possibilities offered by photo processing applications available on smart phones.
His craftsmanship has since evolved through the learning and mastering of the medium. Since 2016, Paul-André’s work has been featured at the Mobile Photography Awards, Mira Mobile Prize, mDACSummit art shows and in group exhibitions organised by the Mag_MobileArtGroup.
His work can be seen in many Instagram groups and also has appeared on TheAppWhisperer, IPhoneographyCentral and Twisting Pixels websites.
